Colin has joined the Corporate Intellectual Property Department within Merck Serono International S.A. as a Patent Manager in 2007, after several years with the Patent Department of Merck KGaA in Germany. He is constantly involved in all aspects of IP on innovations of Merck Serono, with a particular focus on novel active pharmaceutical ingredients. Colin holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and was a member of a strategic innovation project initiative of Merck KGaA in 2005. “Innovation and patenting activity in the pharmaceutical industry”

From 2003, she was Director of Investment in Life Sciences at Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners in Paris. During the previous 15 years she has acquired extensive pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience with companies such as Sanofi Pharma International, Bristol Myers Squibb France, Rhone Poulenc Rorer International/RPR Gencell in the capacities of strategy, development and commercialisation of pharmaceutical products as well as at Serono International.
